Sofas will be either bagged with heavy duty paper bags, specially designed to

protect your sofa or alternatively, it will be wrapped in heavy duty bubble wrap

and then carded. Mattresses will be bagged in specially made mattress bags and

bubble wrapped for extra protection and the bed bases will be bubble wrapped

then carded. All wooden furniture such as display cabinets, book shelves,

wardrobes, bedside cabinets, tables and chairs and so on will be bubble

wrapped and carded to keep from being damaged during transport. Televisions

will be wrapped in paper, bubble wrapped and carded with extra card added to

protect the screen. Canvas paintings will be wrapped in paper to stop them from

sweating then bubble wrapped and placed in card envelopes or in wooden

crates. Framed pictures will be bubble wrapped and placed in card envelops. All

ornaments, china and glassware will be wrapped in paper and placed in boxes

that are lined with shunt. (Shunt is scrunched up paper that gives your delicates

Everything we pack & wrap will be inventoried and

labeled so that when your belongings arrive at your

new home and placed into their appropriate rooms, it

will make your job easier when unpacking

Some people find the task of unpacking quite a laborious process that is why we

at Phoenix Removals can offer you an unpacking service that will take care of

everything, including the removal of all packing materials. Please state when

getting a quote for your move whether or not you would like to include this

service. There will be an extra charge for the unpacking service.
